Fractional CIO

Senior technology leadership.
Without the full-time hire.

For growing businesses where technology has become critical to performance, security and scale, but nobody senior owns the whole picture.

Discuss Fractional CIO support

Technology has outgrown the way it is being managed.

You do not necessarily need more technology or a larger IT team. You need someone senior to give it direction and make sure it supports the business.

Important technology decisions increasingly sit with the owner.

Your IT person or MSP keeps things running but does not own the strategy.

Growth is creating more systems, suppliers, costs and risk.

Technology changes are not being adopted or delivering the value expected.

The gap between business priorities and technical delivery.

Strategy and roadmap

A clear technology direction built around the priorities, constraints and ambitions of the business.

Decisions and investment

Independent challenge on systems, proposals and priorities, including the full cost of ownership.

Suppliers and internal IT

Senior direction for your MSP, technology suppliers and internal people, with clearer ownership and expectations.

Security and resilience

Practical oversight of risk, compliance, continuity and the security decisions that matter most.

Change and adoption

Leadership that considers process, training and adoption so new technology delivers value in practice.

Owner communication

Complex technical issues translated into clear choices, commercial implications and agreed actions.

From uncertainty to a clear direction.

Understand

Clarify the business priorities, current technology position, costs, risks, suppliers and decisions causing concern.

Prioritise

Create an action plan that separates what matters now, what comes next and what can safely wait.

Lead

Establish a practical rhythm for decisions, supplier oversight, change, progress and accountability.

What changes

Less technology for the owner to carry alone.

Within the first 90 days, you should have greater clarity, a prioritised direction and more confidence that technology is being managed properly.

  • A clear technology action plan connected to business priorities
  • Important costs, risks and decisions brought into view
  • Clearer ownership across internal people, MSPs and suppliers
  • Better decisions about systems, security and investment
  • A practical approach to change, training and adoption

Engagements from £1,500 per month + VAT.

The scope is agreed around your priorities, complexity and action plan. Engagements are designed to run for 12 months, with an initial three-month commitment and 30 days’ notice thereafter.

Fractional CIO support does not replace your helpdesk, MSP, systems administrator or project delivery team. Hands-on implementation, major projects, routine administration and emergency response are scoped separately.

Bring senior direction to your technology.

Tell me what is happening in your business. In an initial 30-minute conversation, we can clarify where technology leadership is missing and whether Fractional CIO support would help.
