Independent Technology Decision Review

Make the decision.
With greater confidence.

An independent review of one important technology decision, resulting in a clear written recommendation before you commit.

Discuss a Decision Review

The decision matters. The right answer is not obvious.

Supplier proposals explain what you can buy. A Decision Review establishes whether it is the right choice for your business.

You are comparing systems, suppliers or proposals that are difficult to judge.

The price is visible, but the full cost, risk and operational impact are not.

You are considering an AI platform and need to separate genuine value from hype.

You want an independent view before signing a contract or approving investment.

The full decision, not just the feature list.

Business fit

Whether the proposed decision supports the outcome, priorities and constraints that matter to the business.

Options and alternatives

The realistic choices available, including whether there is a simpler or lower-risk way forward.

Costs and commercials

Pricing, contract terms, dependencies and the likely total cost of ownership, viewed from a commercial perspective.

Technology and operations

How the proposal fits your existing environment and what it will take to implement, support and operate properly.

Security and data

The relevant cybersecurity, privacy, resilience and data considerations, including those created by AI platforms.

Change and adoption

The training, process change and internal ownership required for the decision to create value in practice.

A contained review with a tangible outcome.

Define

We clarify the decision, the business outcome, the options being considered and the information needed.

Review

I assess the relevant proposals, pricing, contracts, technology, risks and operational implications.

Recommend

You receive a written recommendation and a conversation to work through the reasoning and next steps.

What you receive

A recommendation you can use.

The deliverable is designed to help an owner or leadership team make the decision, challenge a supplier and move forward with clarity.

  • A concise written recommendation and supporting rationale
  • Important costs, risks, assumptions and dependencies identified
  • Relevant alternatives and trade-offs made clear
  • Questions to resolve or negotiate before committing
  • A review conversation covering the findings and next steps

Written recommendations from £750 + VAT.

The starting price covers one relatively contained decision. More complex procurement, option assessment or supplier selection work is scoped separately. A straightforward review is typically completed within five working days once the necessary information has been received.

Contracts are reviewed from a commercial, operational and technology perspective. This service does not provide legal advice.

Get an independent view before you commit.

Tell me about the decision you are facing and the options already on the table. In an initial 30-minute conversation, we can establish whether a contained Decision Review would help.
